Abaco Memories ...

We took a 6 a.m. flight from Nassau to Abaco on Wednesday, which was surprisingly crowded for that early in the morning. We took a cab to pick up our rental mini van, and when we first started driving through the town we both thought we had made a mistake, since neither of us had ever been to Abaco and it looked quite rundown. We had a map but since there were no street signs Phil pulled over and I asked a lady for directions to our hotel. For a second I remember smiling picturing myself in the Amazing Race ... lost in a foreign country. The resort turned out to be quite nice though, and after rounding up the parents at the airport we had a nice day relaxing, snorkeling, and then enjoyed dinner at Curly Tails where my mom was able to finally get some lobster. Phil's little sister Andi also enjoyed the Bahamas's drinking age of 18 ...
