What a fun weekend we had! This whole week both Phil and I were sick (Phil is actually still sniffling and coughing quite a bit) so I was happy to have a really fun weekend and Levi did too. Friday night we were supposed to go to Phil's highschool football game but we both really weren't really feeling great to drive up there and watch the game. Instead to went to dinner and had some delicious Mexican food with some new friends. It was low key and exactly the kind of night I love. We tried a new Mexican place and it was quite good, or I was starving ... either way I devoured my entire plate of food. Saturday morning came early, getting Levi ready to head to the vet ( 8 am appointment) then Phil's tennis match. After lunch we listened to the GA game and all took naps on the couches (me, phil, safin, and levi). Sunday came and my pancakes master whipped up a batch of delicious mini pancakes :) Then we took little Levi to the park. We went to the smaller greenway that I remembered had more parks than woods and it was perfect! We took the soccer ball and planned on kicking it around, but Levi was the one who became obsessed with it. We took a long walk in the shade and passed by quite a few walkers and dogs, but most of Levi's attention went to Phil as they would go sprinting down the trail both chasing the soccer ball. I was trying to capture it all on film but sometimes they would just take off and I would have to go running too! Levi was exhausted by the time we made it back to the car and plopped down in the shade next to his water bowl. Phil and I kicked the soccer ball around a little more before we all were pooped and headed home. Levi fell asleep on Phil's lap on the ride home too. Here are a few of my favorites ... but we're def. going to have more days at the park! Especially while its still some cool fall weather!
*I love this last one because Phil had just made a move on Levi and he's looking at Phil like what just happened!
