Weekend Roundup

Had a nice weekend this past weekend. My cousin Kate was up here in Atlanta for a conference and it was really nice to see her. She stayed at our house and then went to the conference all day Friday and Saturday. Friday night we decided to try a new Mexican restraunt, the food was alright but the atmosphere was pretty cool. They had super strong drinks and we had some good food. I can't believe I forgot my camera the entire weekend and took NO pictures! My batteries were low and I kept forgetting to charge it. grrr... Phil went to the GA game Saturday and I stayed behind to levi-sit and do a little shopping. I really didn't get much and I'm in a good place with Christmas shopping this year! Saturday night we all layed low and ordered a pizza and watched The Illusionist. Then Sunday morning we woke up and had a big breakfast at IHOP before Kate got on the road back to Jacksonville. I still can't believe I have NO pictures, and really only realized this until Sunday afternoon ... so unlike me!!! Sunday afternoon we went to Phil's parents house in Hartwell with Levi. He had a blast running circles around there two dogs Dutchess and Sofie. He was def. exhausted by the time we got home. I hope I caught some good pictures of him running around on my film camera (that was not out of batteries). It's so hard to catch him on the digital sometimes. Hopefully I got some good ones and I'll scan & post them later. Phil's room-mate and good friend from college is coming up on Thursday. This weekend he is taking his chiropracter exams in Atlanta. They get Saturday off, and maybe the guys will go golfing ... leaving me time to wrap some presents in private :) Also Saturday is a big GA game so I've offered to cook ribs if we can make a trip to Costco ... my ribs are da bomb ... thanks dad :) haha. well another hour and I'm home free ... this time change sucks because now i think I'll be walking Levi in the dark by the time i get home! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
