Hi Grandma!

My grandma loved rainbows! So I guess it was only natural when I was little that when a rainbow appeared on the way to her funeral my parents told me that everytime I saw a rainbow that was my grandma saying hi to me down from heaven. To this day I still believe that, I guess maybe because rainbows can be few and far between but they always seem to come at the times when I most need a smile. This beautiful rainbow came as I was driving away from my house in West Palm after being home for about two weeks. I always tell myself that I can cry till I get to the interstate. We were taking the turnpike so a little further than 1-95 so I guess I could tear a little bit more. As we neared the turnpike entrance we saw the brightest rainbow and I smiled. Phil quickly grabbed the camera and tried to snap some pictures. It was so close to us when we got on the turnpike, and then as fast as it appeared it was gone and we hit some more rain showers. At least he got a few good snaps (which look amazing on the new camera). AND my mom saw a beautiful rainbow earlier that day, so I guess grandma was saying hi to both of us on a day she knew we both would need an extra smile. :)
