Mom's Surprise Birthday Party ...

After months and months of planning it was here and we did it :) annnnnd I'm exhausted! haha... After my mom finished chemo in April I thought we should throw her a great birthday party. I asked my dad and he was all for it. I got invitations made up and sent them out to all her friends. This week was crazy with my first week of work and getting last minute stuff for the party. I had gotten the decorations, plates, ect a few weeks ago. So this week was all food, drinks, cakes, ect. I ran around town each night picking up stuff and going shopping with my brother. This morning I went to 5 places ... whew. My mom was tired and my brother couldn't get her to leave but it was still a huge surprise when she walked out and saw all her friends. I'm so glad :) Just seeing her happy and her reaction to the party was worth all the crazyness that comes along with planning a party. Love you mom! Happy Birthday :) and here's to many many more ...

And also thanks to my dad for doing all the cooking, my brother for shopping with me twice this week and my wonderful husband who dealt with my stressed out attitude as I got ready for this party and as I bossed him around today!! Sorrrrrryyyy... Love you all .
