One of my favorite christmas presents this year was given to me by my oh so considerate husband =) I have not been to Disney World since the Millenium ... yes the big 2000 by family and spent new years in Orlando going to Animal Kingdom and picking up Febo on the side of the road :) I've wanted to go back ever since ... particularly animal kingdom, but disney is expensive, crowded, and 90% of the time Orlando is a heat box. So yes I understand Phil not jumping at the chance to drive up to Orlando and fight the crowds with me. But he put all his hate against crowds aside this year when he gave me a special weekend away at animal kingdom. Yessss.... AND we'll be staying at the fantastic Animal kingdom lodge which overlooks the park. We upgraded to club aka vip level so that we could go on a private "dusk" safari. I'm so excited! So Friday January 30th we'll head up to the lodge, go on our private safari, be treated to a 4 course meal at the restraunt and enjoy vip style :) I hope for nice weather, small crowds, good food in all 4 courses, and a seamlessly fun and relaxed weekend ... and of course to see a BUNCH of cool animals up close and personal ... well not tooo close for the lions they can look pretty from afar.
